So I've connected another Dock (LOOQS USB C 8 in 1 Hub) = the Internet by Ethernet Cable keeps working + Switch configure page works normal = No Problems So I've set the IP dress to Static = Problem persists So I updated the firmware on both Switch to the latest Firmware, the problem persists. So first I exchanged the switch for another one (same Type different Firmware version), Problem persists. I have tested if the problem happens when the Official USB C Charger is Disconnected = Problem Persists
When i disconnect the cable OR disable the connection in the steam deck network config, the page immediately works normal(fast) again) (the switch is laggy wile the steam deck is connected by Ethernet cable, I immediately experience slow loading of this page. So fortunately i have a managed switch Netgear GS105Ev2 5 ports.
)Īfter some searching on the community pages, i have read that there are some docks that cause issue's on the Routers / Switches that they are connected to. (When connected to Wifi it works perfectly. Ill have to either disconnect the Ethernet Cable OR Disable/Enable the Wired Internet connection in the Connection Manager, then it will work for 1 ~ 4 Minutes and the problem repeats. So after a minute or so my connection freezes up and the internet on the deck stops working, after another minute the Steam Deck wil alert me that the internet stop d working.
